How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!" (Isaiah 52:7)
For years we have known that we would one day be missionaries. Now this dream has become a reality. God has opened up a door for us to serve HIM as Missionary Associates in the nation of Ecuador.
We will be working with Missionaries Joil & Leah Marbut ministering to the Shuar Indians.

04.21.08 Hello all. We have had a busy few weeks. Last week we built 2 churches. One of them we built about 5 hours north of here in a Quichua Indian village, normally we build in the hot jungle, that one was in the cold mountains. It was beautiful there. (4/21/2008)
03.11.08 Hey everyone. Well we are back in Sucua with some sense of “normal” again, if there is such a thing. We went to the jungle to a village named Libertad. On the way there my truck suffered much. The road is difficult and it is a long way. After much trouble and about 8 hours on the road we arrived at the port and went in boat for another 5 hours (3/11/2008)
02.23.08 Our computer is back!! A team just arrived bringing a part for our computer to bring it back to the living. Well today we had a baptism service at the river. It was a little rainy and if the water wasn’t flowing so fast we probably would have had to chip away some ice to have the thing, yes it was that cold. (2/23/2008)
01.03.08 Happy new year everyone. I trust that you all had a wonderful holiday season. We had a great Christmas here in Ecuador with our family. We had a big Christmas meal at our house with around 40 people, it was a great time. We had a great year in 2007 and are excited about the new year. We wish you all the best.

News About The Conaways
Go And Tell John What You Have Seen And Heard In the gospel of Luke chapter 7 verse 22 we read a response by Jesus to an inquiry sent by John. The question was “Are you the one who is to come, or shall we look for another?” The amazing thing is that this dialog still takes place all the time. (4/14/2008)
Happy New Year Happy new year everyone! Here in Ecuador there is a tradition where everyone builds a life size doll stuffed with straw or paper and it wears clothes and has a mask for a face and it is called “el año viejo” “the old year” in English. On New Years Eve they set fire to their dolls. It is quite a sight to see these human forms go up in flames. (1/11/2008)
Thanksgiving in July I hope everyone is having a great summer. I would like to take a moment to thank you. Thank you all for your response to our last newsletter. We were in need and many of you responded with financial support, prayer and e-mails of encouragement. (8/6/2007)
